Nouwen In seizing the inspiration that came to him through Rembrandt’s painting of the Prodigal Son, Henri Nouwen probes different aspects of the parable from the gospel story: the younger son’s return, the father’s restoration of sonship, the elder son’s vengefulness, and the father’s compassion. Henri takes us on a journey of exploring themes of homecoming, affirmation, and reconciliation in light of the human condition. We are celebrating Fr. John's 39 years as a priest with a vocation dinner and theater. We are hosting Br. Al Mascia, OFM's one friar musical "More Love Than Skill; a Saint and His Fiddle".
