Adult Faith Formation

Growing in a faithful and loving relationship with the Lord is begun early in life. The seeds planted in childhood can bloom into a mature, adult relationship with the Lord. The more we know the tremendous love God has for us, the more we can respond to him in love.

The aim of Adult Faith Formation is to foster getting to know the Lord more personally regardless of the topics covered. The joy of a relationship with God will expand to invite others to share the same joy.

What we have seen and heard we proclaim now to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; for our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. – I John 1.3

Evangelization

It is our privilege to share our faith in Jesus because He is the center of our life and cause of our joy. In truth, we become missionaries as we witness to our faith by the way we live, who we are and how we relate to others. Evangelizing means shining the light of our faith in Jesus on others and inviting them to discover how wonderful it is to live in relationship to Him. God is always at work in our lives. It is simply a matter of noticing what He is doing and sharing that with another.

Vocations

Vocations are the way God calls us to love himself and others. The church recognizes vocations of priesthood, married life, consecrated life, and the single life. We pray that each of us will respond to the vocation to which we are called.

Traveling Chalice

Parishioners are invited to take a chalice home for a week, put it in a prominent place, and pray for vocations to the priesthood
