The Goal of Faith Formation

Faith Formation is a continuing process of coming to know the love of God and letting that love flow to others in thought, word, and action.

Scripture based lessons lead young people to know the plan of God who creates us, redeems us, and leads us in love to true happiness.

Sacramental Preparation

Ordinarily children are prepared for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in the second grade. Parents and catechists collaborate in this preparation.

Students are prepared in the seventh and eighth grades for Confirmation. This preparation includes Scripture study, service work, and a retreat in the 8^th grade.
