Calling all crafters, sewers, and artistic adults and children:
The Prayer Blanket and Decorating Cards For Shut-Ins Ministries will be on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 6-8 PM in the church social hall. You don’t need to be a seamstress or an artist to join our group. All are welcome, including children.
We are in need of
decorated prayer blanket squares to begin this year’s
ministry. There is a basket of blank squares by the
Herbert Street entrance of the church under the
crucifix. Please take as many as you wish to
decorate. We need some children’s decorated squares
as well as adults. Squares can be decorated with
permanent fabric markers, embroidered, needle point, or
by sewing machine. Please leave a 1 inch
boundary around all the edges for sewing purposes. The
finished squares can be placed in the basket next to the
basket of blank squares.
