The Sacrament of Reconciliation, formally known as Confession, is a wonderful Sacrament of mercy and forgiveness. The Sacrament is a peaceful opportunity to speak to a priest about those things that have burdened your heart and soul hindering your peace with God, others, or yourself. Jesus is eternally merciful, ready and willing to offer forgiveness. All are welcome to the powerful grace of forgiveness and freedom. At the heart of our faith is the mercy of Jesus captured in the forgiveness of sin through his death on the Cross. The love of the Cross is no match for the burden of sin in the repentant soul. Jesus is pleased to forgive our sins and renew us in a free and open relationship with himself and others.
